Traditional Schrothkur Therapy

Schrothkur has played an important role at Hotel Rosenalp, from as early as the founding of the hotel by Walter & Rita Schädler in 1970.
This emphasis has remained until today and has developed the hotel from 30 beds to a large health and spa resort.

Just 8 years after opening, the first wellness area was constructed with swimming pool, sauna, beauty treatments, massages etc. This was extended in the mid nineties and again in 2001 to house a fitness area. And that is how the Spa Area came to be!
The health treatments were also significantly extended in 1994 with the hotel's own doctor's surgery. Thanks to a complete renovation in 2008 the rooms are still modernly furnished.

In 2003 the senior partner, Rita Schädler, transferred the management of Hotel Rosenalp to her children, Barbara Burkhart & Bernd Schädler.
Sonja Schädler, the senior manager's wife manages the restaurant and makes sure you are well fed.
The tasty meals which you will receive there are prepared by, among others, the senior manager's son Philipp Burkhart.
Lucas and Franzisca, Sonja and Bernd Schädler's children are already getting a taste of working in the family company with fun tasks.

In order to offer you an even better holiday experience and a higher level of service in the future, we are starting renovations on the terrace, restaurant, hotel bar, kitchen, rooms and physiotherapy practice come October 2010.
In 2011 we have also been busy. Since the beginning of summer we have built a new panoramic terrace so that you can enjoy dining outside, redesigned the sunbathing lawn for even more relaxing moments and renovated many rooms.
The work continues in 2012: we plan to buy the modern generation of Technogym equipment, install a fantastic infotainment system in all rooms (32" flatscreen TV in all rooms, WLAN, connections for mobile devices to the TV, and much more), refurbish more rooms and hire our own nutritionist - Barbara Boos
